The Yuxi-Mohan Railway is a national railway class I electrified railway, connects Yuxi City and Mohan Port in Mengla County and Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province, China.
The Yuxi-Mohan Railway is an important part of the Pan-Asian Railway Central Line from Kunming to Bangkok. It is the connecting line of important international railway passages from Yunnan Province to Laos and Thailand. The Yuxi-Mohan Railway starts from Yuxi Station in the north and ends at Mohan Station in the south. It has a total length of 507.4 km. There are 13 stations on the whole line with a design speed of 160 km/h. The Yuxi-Mohan Railway has a total of 93 tunnels and 136 bridges, with a bridge-to-tunnel ratio as high as 87.3%, the construction is very difficult.
